ICLEI's 100% Renewables Cities and Regions Energy Compact aims to mobilize local and regional governments committed to increasing the uptake of renewable energy in their territories, setting a number of non-binding but ambitious interim targets, with the ultimate goal of reaching 100% renewable energy use by 2050. This activity is aligned with the 100% RE Network, which can also enable action through knowledge sharing and peer exchange, as well as monitoring and reporting on progress through CDP Track.
