ICLEI Africa supports African cities with technical assistance in adaptation planning through forums like the Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa (CoM SSA), they are well placed to support the scaling of the framework output across the region. Key roles ICLEI performs is that of knowledge broker, in building bridges, and creating inclusive and empowering platforms for multi-sectoral conversations to occur, which lead to transformative policies and actions. ICLEI will harness its network, team and resources to ensure that REAP Resilience facilitates scaled change on the continent in ways that promote equitable climate resilient development. ICLEI has a long-term working relationship with the municipalities, as well as the local universities involved in this research proposal
