Project description

In the current phase (Phase III), over five years (2022-27), CDKN will focus on advancing equitable, financed and ecosystem-based action on climate change. CDKN is co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) through the Step Change Initiative, which aims to accelerate equitable and inclusive locally-led adaptation.

CDKN Objective 1: Supporting integration of gender equality and social inclusion in policies and practice to achieve climate-resilient development

CDKN Objective 2: Enabling access to appropriate and equitable finance for climate-resilient development that supports locally-led solutions

CDKN Objective 3: Strengthening implementation of equitable and locally-appropriate ecosystems-based adaptation to build the resilience of climate-affected communities and settlements
