- ICLEI Europe leads activities related to replicating AEGIR solutions at the subnational and European Level – including tasks such as capacity building and replication support, identifying and creating / testing financial schemata and tools and proffering recommendations to optimise local and European regulatory frameworks.
- This solution will achieve a low-energy manufacturing process with a low carbon footprint. It will use different digital technologies (BIM, augmented reality, digital twins, etc.) to improve building design, refurbishing, management, and operation. Design multifunctional (passive & active) scalable building energy renovation envelope packages to answer to a different range of needs, which integrates plug & play industrialized highly insulating envelope modules with very low embodied energy, built-in renewable energy generation systems, and highly efficient ventilation systems designed to ensure user comfort and indoor air quality. Develop and implement an ecosystem of digital services in a common data environment that enables an efficient design of the AEGIR renovation packages for different building typologies, an efficient building renovation execution, and building operation and maintenance.
- Demonstrate AEGIR technical solution through its implementation and monitoring in four different building typologies (residential, office, and educational) located in different climatic zones.
