Through the AGORA project, ICLEI is providing actionable tools to promote citizen and stakeholder engagement for the successful, inclusive and tailored implementation of climate adaptation solutions at the local level. To achieve this, ICLEI is organizing peer-to-peer activities between the pilots and followers of the project to encourage trans-local learning around barriers and solutions and promote replication of good practices. This activity is supported by a range of tools, including a digital community hub, two digital academies, and a digital handbook on citizen engagement for climate adaptation. Through the AGORA project, ICLEI thus supports local governments to prepare for future impacts of climate change and build societal resilience through democratic practices and tailored adaptation solutions.
