ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability developed this initiative since 2021 and in 2024, it will implement it again. This commitment seeks to ensure that candidates for elected positions at the local level in this 2024 electoral process commit to implementing a series of basic principles linked to sustainable development and the climate fight that they must include in their government agenda, if they win the electoral process.
