As part of the training and technical assistance activities for capacity building, exchange of experiences and support to local governments in the implementation of sustainable development, as well as from the perspective of promotion and dissemination, every year ICLEI MECS holds the International Congress where various topics such as climate change, environmental education, waste management, circular economy, water management, sustainable procurement, energy efficiency are raised.
