ICLEI is supporting the city to plan for their Just Transition journey through action planning and unlocking finance. ICLEI will review Steve Tshwete's policies and support the development of a roadmap which includes strategies and actions for the Just Transition at the local level. In addition, the project will package and prepare Just Transition projects and aims to leverage ring-fenced Just Transition finance, in addition to climate project packaging and financing. The projects chosen for preparation will aim to demonstrate the benefits that the Just Transition offers.
